If you are interested in joining the lab, please send a letter of introduction to Karin Pfennig. Undergraduates should describe why they are interested in carrying out research in our group. Prospective graduate students and postdocs should include a CV and provide a brief overview of their background, research interests, and career goals.
Finding Us
Our lab is located in Wilson Hall on the campus of the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Nearby visitor parking is located in the Ram’s Head parking deck.

Karin and members of the lab are always happy to talk about our research with online or in-person classroom visits and public events. Also check out our K-12 resources page for lesson plans and fun videos.
Karin also works to promote constructive conversations between science and faith communities. She is happy to work with your group to organize, promote, or participate in such conversations.
